What is Albert Road to us? Albert Road is and always has been a bustling, alternative interesting road full of independent small businesses, shops, fantastic cafes, restaurants and pubs, music venues including the world renowned Wedgewood Rooms and the crowning glory, The Kings Theatre which stands as a beacon to all around inviting people to visit our fantastic road.
The shop owners and local residents blend together to create a fantastic community with a bohemian feel, the road is frequented by many musicians, actors, poets and artists. Albert Road has a true feeling of togetherness where schools, businesses the church and different cultures from around the world work and live side by side. It must be the most photogenic road in Portsmouth and has never been manufactured, this is a real road, real people, real Portsmouth. Love Albert Road.
